Andrews Bowen are undertaking works on the surfaces at Stoneleigh for the Royal Agricultural Society of England in preparation for the Royal Festival of the Horse taking place 9th to 11th of July. Andrews Bowen staff will be at the show to maintain surfaces throughout the show.
ndrews Bowen are currently constructing fantastic outdoor facilities at Fieldhouse Equestrian Centre, www.fieldhousemarchington.com. The new outdoor facilities are being built to compliment the existing indoor arenas, already surfaced with Andrews Bowen ProWax. New facilities will include a 60m x 80m outdoor competition arena with 60 x 25m warm up arena both surfaced with ProWax and fully landscaped to allow excellent viewing. In addition an all weather cross country section is being created including a water jump and steps.

Andrews Bowen recently completed a top up of Myerscough College’s International Arena surface in time for their Premier League Dressage Show 12-14th March. Alongside this we also carried out works to improve their collecting ring surface.
Andrews Bowen ProWax has now been installed ready for this years Horse of the Year Show, which runs from 7th-11th October. The 5 arenas, 4 indoor and 1 outdoor exercise area are now ready for the prestigious event.
The ever popular Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) continues to grow in size and audience numbers for this year’s show are certainly showing no exception. With world-class international show jumping, the most prestigious showing championships and an impressive line-up of equestrian entertainment which will have a distinctive Broadway feel this year, HOYS promises to be a spectacular not to be missed!

Easton College near Norwich is set unveil a 5 million pound equestrian and animal welfare centre development.

Forest Edge Arena near Swaffham in Norfolk has recently invested in Andrews Bowen ProWax for their existing indoor Arena and new outdoor warm up arena surfaces.
The new surfaces are all part of Penny and Steve Garrett’s refurbishment of the centre. They aim to provide the equestrian community with a professionally run competition centre, whilst retaining a friendly, family atmosphere.
We are sure that ProWax will help in ensuring the future success of the centre.
Andrews Bowen are already begining to prepare the 2009 Horse of the Year Show surface at their mixing plant. “The Worlds Most Famous Horse Show” runs from Wednesday 7th to Sunday 11th Octobers at the LG Arena, The NEC Birmingham.
The required tonnage all has to be mixed ready for installation in the few days immediately prior to the show.
Andrews Bowen Staff will be on hand throughout the show to maintain the ProWax surfaces and we will have an exhibition stand in the retail village where we can discuss your arena projects and surface options.

Grandstand Group, organiser of Horse of the Year Show and the British Open Show Jumping Championships, has today announced that it has terminated its agreement with Equestrian Surfaces Ltd following the problems with the quality of surface being supplied to the Shows. Grandstand Group has taken immediate action to ensure competitors’ high standards are met, appointing Andrews Bowen Ltd to supply the arena surfaces for the Group’s equestrian events.
The 2008 Diamond Jubilee Horse of the Year Show will be the first show to benefit from the Andrews Bowen ProWax surface as part of a new five year contract. Grandstand Group Director, Mark Wein, commented, “Following the problems we have been experiencing with our surfaces over the past few Shows, culminating in the disastrous surface that was delivered to us for the British Open, I am delighted to sign with Andrews Bowen Ltd as the supplier of our surfaces for the next five years. Andrews Bowen were proud winners of the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce Be Inspired Business Awards, The BIBAS, Award for International Trade. The award ceremony at the Tower Ballroom Blackpool was held on evening of 7th March. Both David Andrews and Simon Bowen were there to collect the award, North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Babs Murphy said “These awards acknowledge our local businesses outstanding performance in the global marketplace and I would like to congratulate all the winners on their superb acheivements”.
